Stephanie’s hectic life often left her stressed and exhausted. “I noticed the free blood pressure test at Lloydspharmacy,” she said, “I’ve never thought about my blood pressure, but I try to take care of myself so I thought I’d give it a go.”

The result was higher than it should be and she was advised to see her GP. “He confirmed what the test showed and recommended some changes to my routine,” she continued.

“I’m grateful to Lloydspharmacy. The changes I’ve made mean I don’t feel as tired and stressed as I used to.” Stephanie recently had her blood pressure checked again and was delighted to learn it is now near normal.

Valerie saw leaflets about high blood pressure in her local Lloydspharmacy. She says, “I have a family history of heart and thyroid problems, and was starting to experience hot flushes and put on weight.”

She decided to get a free in-store blood pressure test. “I wouldn’t normally do this kind of thing,” she said, “but the assistant was very reassuring.” The result was high, so Valerie was advised to visit her doctor, who prescribed medication and told her to give up smoking.

Valerie sees the test as one of the best decisions she’s ever made. “I am so grateful to the staff at Lloydspharmacy, their professionalism probably saved me from long-term complications.”
