At Lloydspharmacy, your pre-registration year is not spent in isolation. Our programme offers branch training with a dedicated tutor and out of branch training days to help you along the way.

You’ll have a big say in how you develop and where you want to go. And if you show plenty of initiative you could end up working in one of the many positions we have available - ranging from Training Pharmacist to Operations Director.

The Programme

Our Pre Registration graduate programme has been designed to dovetail with the RPSGB’s performance standards. In other words, we’ll give you all the technical, professional and management training you need to pass your Registration exam. Your pre-registration year with us will consist of the following four components:

• Branch training programme with a registration tutor
• Assignment programme to support the achievement of performance standards
• Clinical workshops including: Major Therapeutics and Responding to Symptoms
• Approximately 15 regionally based training days covering clinical topics, pharmacy practice and managerial skills

Once qualified as a Pharmacist whether you choose to follow a clinical or managerial career is up to you. Whichever path you follow, we’ll ensure you have all the skills you need to thrive in your existing role, whilst preparing you for new opportunities.
