Locum Earnings Breakdown

Average hourly rate of £22.00 - Class 2 and 4 NI = £20.65p/hour

£20.65 x 8 hour day = £165.20 per day

£165.20 x 5 days = £826.00 per week

52 weeks per year minus 5 weeks annual leave = 47 weeks per year

47 weeks minus 1.5 weeks (8 days) bank holiday = 45.5

£826.00 per week x 45.5 weeks per year = £37,583

less £395 Annual RPSGB Subscription

Permanent Salary Equivalent*: £37,188.00

Permanent Employee Earnings Breakdown

Average annual salary £39,000

+ up to £4,000 annual bonus

+ £395 Annual RPSGB Subscription

+ £2,340 maximum contributory pension

+ £280 Private Medical Cover

Total Package: £46,015.00
