The Pharmacy Department encompasses a hugely varied range of functions which support effective business delivery: efficient customer service, setting and policing of standards, effective PR and communications, interactive government relations, innovative pharmacy services and efficient quality and risk management.
The Superintendent’s Office supports and advises pharmacies in their professional practice. We develop and implement the clinical governance agenda and – through our professional standards pharmacists and customer service team – deal with all customer enquires across the network.
The clinical pharmacists within the Government Relations & Pharmacy Services team develop new and innovative services for delivery within the pharmacy contract. They ensure that the business is at the forefront of primary care service provision.
Public Affairs & Communications deliver our consumer and corporate PR and communications. Working alongside media and stakeholders, we support the business’ commercial objectives – and enhance and protect our corporate profile. Within Quality & Risk Management, we deal with health, safety & environment, quality systems & regulatory affairs and information governance. Our role is to minimise Lloydspharmacy’s exposure to risk in these areas, and develop and ensure delivery of our CSR agenda
