LetsGetChecked Diabetic HbA1c Test

Hemoglobin (Hb) is the part of your blood that makes it red, the protein in your red blood cells carries oxygen around your body. Glucose (sugar) in your blood can stick to hemoglobin, which makes HbA1c, and the more glucose in your blood, the higher your level of HbA1c will be.

Red blood cells in your body survive for 8-12 weeks before they are renewed, by measuring HbA1c, you can get an idea of your average blood glucose level of the last 2-3 months. This level will indicate if there is the presence of diabetes.
