If you’re taking repeat medication prescribed by your doctor, our free Repeat Prescription Service can make your life easier by managing your prescriptions for you. It will save you time and lots of trips back and forth to your doctors*.

Where is this service available?
You can sign up for the Repeat Prescription Service at your local LloydsPharmacy or you can sign up with our Online Pharmacy who can deliver your medication to your selected address.

Who can use this service?
In Pharmacy:
The repeat prescription service is available to all patients with a repeat prescription (and who’s GP participates in the service).
This service is available for most people who have a repeat prescription (and whose GP participates in the service). Exclusions include patients with prescriptions for controlled drugs or medication requiring storage in a fridge, such as insulin. Prescriptions containing these items will be transferred to your nearest LloydsPharmacy for dispensing and delivery. Our online pharmacy team will contact you if your prescription needs to be dispensed via your local pharmacy.

Does this service cost anything?
No, this service is free (you will still have to pay for your prescriptions, unless you are exempt)
Can I cancel this service at any time?
Yes, you can. Just contact the pharmacy who is looking after your repeat slip and let them know you no longer wish to use the service.
I am the patient’s representative. Can I sign up to the Repeat Prescription Service on the patient’s behalf?
Yes, you can.

What other prescription services do you offer?
The Electronic Prescription Service is replacing paper prescriptions in England. It means your doctor will be able to send your prescription electronically to your nominated LloydsPharmacy, making it easier and quicker for you to get your medication.
Our Online Doctor service can provide you with a prescription any day of the week without the need for a face-to-face consultation. Following an online consultation, medication can be sent to your chosen address or you can select to pick it up from your local LloydsPharmacy. Common services available from our Online Doctor include:
