With the LloydsPharmacy Prescription Delivery Service you will no longer have to visit your GP practice to pick up your repeat prescriptions or your pharmacy to collect your prescription medicines, saving you time. This service is available if you are NHS exempt, or have to pay for your NHS repeat prescription medicines. Our prescription delivery service provides you with complete control, as you are able to choose where your medication is delivered, whether it’s to your home, workplace or even a nominated person, such as a carer, providing they are over 16 years old. This is flexible and your chosen delivery address can be changed at any time.

How much does delivery cost?

Prescription medicines are delivered FREE of charge via Royal Mail Tracked, to a UK address of your choice.

Where is the LloydsPharmacy Prescription Delivery Service available?

We are able to deliver your medication to addresses across the UK, including the Channel Islands and Isle of Man, via Royal Mail Tracked service. Prescription medication needs to be signed for by yourself or a nominated person who is 16 years or over.

Do I need to be in for the delivery of my medicines and what happens if I’m not in?

Our prescription delivery service is offered to an address of your choice in the UK, but deliveries must be signed for by yourself or a nominated representative who is 16 years old or over. If your delivery cannot be signed for, then Royal Mail will inform you how to arrange collection, or redelivery.

How long does it take to get a repeat prescription delivered?

We are provided with a date each month on your prescription and will ensure you have received your medication by this date. NHS repeat prescription medicines will be sent via Royal Mail Tracked delivery. A signature will be required upon delivery by yourself, or a nominated representative over 16 years old. Our pharmacy team will contact you if there will be a delay in sending out your order.

Is my personal and prescription information secure?

Here at LloydsPharmacy, we take the security of personal and prescription information seriously. In order to provide you with the services you require, we will collect information about you via our website, telephone conversations, emails and written and verbal communications. We understand that you may want to be discreet about your prescription medication. With this in mind, we can ensure that our delivery packaging won’t give any indication of its contents, making the delivery process secure and confidential.

Why can I not use the LloydsPharmacy Prescription Delivery Service if I live outside of England?

We use the NHS England Electronic Prescription Service to receive your prescription electronically from you GP. This service is not available in Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands or Isle of Man. Find out more about the Electronic Prescription Service.
