LloydsPharmacy Prescription Delivery Service FAQs

Does this service cost anything?

Our NHS Repeat Prescription service and delivery is free, however you will have to pay for your NHS prescription medicines, unless you are NHS exempt. When ordering private prescriptions the cost will be displayed once the item has been selected and added to your basket. All private prescription items have a minimum order value of £5.00, meaning that if you’re prescribed medication totals less than £5.00 you will still be charged this amount as a minimum. Delivery is offered for FREE via Royal Mail to a UK address of your choice.

Where do I send my paper prescription?

Please send your signed NHS or private prescription to: FREEPOST RRYH-ZXJU-HYTZ, LloydsPharmacy.com, Carrington House, 39 Carrington Field Street, Stockport, SK1 3JN. Please note we must receive your prescription before we can dispense and send out your medication.

What is the difference between the Repeat Prescription Service and The Online Doctor Service?

LloydsPharmacy Online Doctor is a convenient service that is led by a team of experienced doctors and pharmacists. It is suitable for those who do not already have an NHS or private prescription but may still require treatment. The service is simple to use and involves the patient completing an online free assessment or consultation. Once completed, a clinician will assess the answers and if appropriate will issue a prescription for treatment. All clinicians are GMC/GPhC registered, and each provides exceptional care to the highest UK medical standards.

How long does it take to get my repeat prescription delivered?

From the time of receiving your email confirmation that we have processed your prescription, we will dispatch your medicines via standard Royal Mail 48 hour delivery. Please allow between 3-5 working days for postal delays or weekend delivery.

Do I need to be in to take delivery of my medicines and what happens if I’m not in?

Our free repeat prescription service is offered to an address of your choice in the UK, but must be signed by yourself, or a nominated representative over 16 years old. If no one can sign for your delivery, Royal Mail will leave you contact information so you can arrange redelivery or collection.
