NHS Repeat Prescriptions

Many of our customers collect their NHS Repeat Prescriptions from one of our 1600 nationwide stores. However did you know that we can deliver your repeat prescription medication for FREE, if your GP surgery is in England? The new LloydsPharmacy Prescription Delivery Service makes taking care of your prescription medicines simple. Our easy and hassle-free service means we will manage your repeat prescriptions for you. Our helpful team are available on 0345 600 3565 (option 1) Monday to Friday, 8am till 6pm, to get you started, or to assist with any questions. This service is great if you have a busy work schedule, an on-the-go lifestyle, or you don’t want the inconvenience of frequent trips to your GP or pharmacy. This services includes repeat prescriptions and repeat dispensing prescriptions.

LloydsPharmacy PDS

The LloydsPharmacy Prescription Delivery Service means it’s now even easier to manage on-going prescription needs for you, your family and others you may care for. This service is available if you are NHS exempt, or have to pay for your NHS repeat prescription medicines. Our flexible service means that your medication can be delivered to your home, workplace or nominated person, such as a carer, providing they are over 16 years old. Our free reminders via email, text message or over the phone, enable you to enjoy complete peace of mind. As experts, we understand that managing multiple prescriptions can be time-consuming and inconvenient, so with this in mind, we provide a quick, easy and hassle-free repeat prescription service.

One-Off Prescriptions

In addition, if you have a one-off prescription to collect you can visit one of our 1,600 nationwide stores where we will be able to dispense your medication. By choosing a local LloydsPharmacy to dispense your one-off prescriptions you will benefit from the convenience of finding a store close to where you live, work or shop or that is open late on Sundays*, access a wide variety of helpful health services and expert advice from in-store pharmacists.

LloydsPharmacy Prescription Delivery Service FAQs

Can I sign up for someone else, such as a friend, family member, or someone I care for with this service?

Yes, signing up on behalf of a friend or relative is easy; follow the simple online registration steps. click here

Do I need to be in to take delivery of my medicines and what happens if I’m not in?

Version 1 - All deliveries must be signed for by yourself, or a nominated representative who is 16 years old or over. If no-one is available to receive your delivery, then Royal Mail will let you know how you can rearrange delivery or collection.

Does this service cost anything?

Our NHS Repeat Prescription service and delivery is free, however you will have to pay for your NHS prescription medicines, unless you are NHS exempt. When ordering private prescriptions the cost will be displayed once the item has been selected and added to your basket. All private prescription items have a minimum order value of £5.00, meaning that if you’re prescribed medication totals less than £5.00 you will still be charged this amount as a minimum. Delivery is offered for FREE via Royal Mail to a UK address of your choice.

Why can I not use the LloydsPharmacy Prescription Delivery Service if I live outside of England?

We use the NHS England Electronic Prescription Service to receive your prescription electronically from your GP. This service is not available in Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands or Isle of Man; however, if your GP surgery is in England you may be able to nominate your surgery.

How much does delivery cost?

Version 1 - Prescription medicines are delivered to your chosen UK address FREE via the Royal Mail 48 hour signed for service.
