Time to be yourself again…

We all have the occasional headache or sprained ankle from time to time. This type of pain is known as acute pain and there are lots of products to treat it, which can be confusing – but don't worry, we can help understand the different pain relief options available to you. Some people also experience continuous, long-term pain, which is pain that lasts longer than expected or for 12 weeks or more. From backache to arthritis, we call this chronic pain. |

The first thing we’ll do is listen to you... We need to understand your pain so that we can give you the best advice on how to control it. We’ll listen to your concerns and ask you to assess
your level of pain on our Pain Scale and we’ll also ask you about other medication you take or have tried. We’ll use this to recommend the best over-the-counter treatments for you, referring you to your doctor if need be. And we’ll give you a personalised pain advice card to remind you of our recommendations. |

You can see the Betterlife range at www.betterlife.co.uk, or ask the pharmacy team for a catalogue.
