What is The Electronic Prescription Service? (EPS)

The Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) is a new NHS service that allows your GP to send your prescription(s) directly to your chosen pharmacy. This means that you can choose to have a paper-free prescription.

Who does it benefit?

The -Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) means that you can nominate an online pharmacy to fulfil your NHS Repeat Prescription. There’s no need to visit your pharmacy or GP to collect your prescription, it’s managed online and delivered to your chosen UK address for FREE. Does this service cost anything?

Version 1 - Prescription medicines are delivered to your chosen UK address FREE via the Royal Mail 48 hour signed for service.

Can I order my Private Prescription on this service?

Ordering your Private Prescription online is simple. Just search for your required item(s), select the item strength and quantity and add to your prescription. Once you have gone through the checkout process and purchased the item(s) you’ll need to send us your paper prescription. You can send this to us at FREEPOST RRYH-ZXJU-HYTZ, LloydsPharmacy.com, Carrington House, 39 Carrington Field Street, Stockport, SK1 3JN.

Do I need to be in to take delivery of my medicines and what happens if I’m not in?

Version 1 - All deliveries must be signed for by yourself, or a nominated representative who is 16 years old or over. If no-one is available to receive your delivery, then Royal Mail will let you know how you can rearrange delivery or collection.
