Delivery Information
Postage and packing costs
Postage and packing costs will be added to the cost of your order and will depend on the total cost of the items you order and, where delivery options are provided, the option you choose. The postage and packing charge you will pay will be displayed on screen before you confirm your order to us. Where multiple items are included in one order, we may despatch the items separately, in which case, you will only be charged one postage and packing charge.
- Standard postage and packing on all orders up to £35 = £2.95
- Next Day Delivery available on certain lines where highlighted = £4.95
- On all orders over £35 (Includes the cost payable for any prescriptions in the same order) = FREE standard postage and packaging
- York Fitness Equipment = FREE standard postage and packaging 7-10 working days delivery. (Mainland UK only)
- Private prescription medicines are delivered through a tracked service that will require a doorstep signature = £3.95 (all private prescription items have a minimum order value of £5:00)
- NHS prescription medicinesare delivered through a tracked service that will require a doorstep signature = £2.50
Standard delivery
95% of orders are despatched within 3 working days and normally delivered to your chosen address within 5 working days.
Next Day Delivery
Next Day Delivery will cost £4.95 and will only be offered if all items in your basket are available for Next Day delivery. Orders placed before 2pm Mon-Fri will be delivered Next Day, orders after 2pm Mon-Fri will be delivered the following working day. Please note Next Day Delivery is only available to mainland UK.
Delivery times for medicines sent by post
All prescription medicines (excluding NHS prescriptions see above) are sent through a tracked service that will require a doorstep signature, Prescription items can only be despatched once we have received your paper prescription.
Delivery of orders
Excluding customers that have selected the next day delivery option, 95% of orders are despatched within 3 working days to the address provided by you in your order. Delivery timescales are estimates only. If you do not receive your order within 14 days of us confirming your order you must notify us and we will investigate the non-delivery provided you cooperate with the investigation.
Betterlife Delivery
Betterlife’s standard shipment time is 1-7 working days
Betterlife delivery is £2.95 or free on all orders over £40. Smaller products will be delivered by Special Delivery. Products that weigh more than 2kg or classed as high value items will be delivered by one of Betterlifs’s national couriers. Orders to be delivered to Northern Ireland, highlands and islands will incur extra delivery charges.
Some products require installation by one of Betterlife’s Mobility Technicians to ensure that you gain the maximum benefit from your product(s). Where this is the case delivery will be made by a Betterlife employee, e.g. large mobility scooters, riser/recliner chairs or electric beds. Technician deliveries typically take up to 7-10 working days. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure clear access for delivery with all necessary provisions being made before delivery takes place.
Betterlifehealthcare Ltd will not be held responsible for any damage incurred due to inadequate access.
York Fitness Delivery
Please note all York Fitness orders are fulfilled directly by York Fitness, meaning all deliveries will be shipped directly from York Barbell.
Please note:
Starting the week commencing 25th February 2013 York Fitness will be undertaking an end of year stock take. Last orders for delivery before stock take need to be received no later than 2pm on Thursday 21st February 2013. Orders placed after this time will start to ship from Monday 4th March 2013. Apologies for any inconvenience caused over this period.
