Ordering

Who is this service for?
This online prescription service is for anyone with a private prescription; however, we can only dispense prescriptions from within the UK, Isle of Man and Channel Islands.
If you are under 18 years of age, you must nominate a representative over 18 years of age to sign up on your behalf.
Do I need to have a LloydsPharmacy account?
Yes, you must have an account with us to use this service. Having an account allows you to easily manage your order. Sign up for a LloydsPharmacy account.
Can I order controlled drugs or items requiring refrigeration online?
Prescriptions containing items which require refrigeration or are controlled drugs will be transferred to your nearest LloydsPharmacy for dispensing and delivery. Customer services will contact you if this is the case with your prescription.
Can I order prescriptions on behalf of someone else?
You can order private prescriptions for someone else if you are their representative. If you contact us, we may ask for the patient’s name, address and date of birth as a form of identification

This is a freepost address so no stamp is required.
Please ensure the prescription has been signed by your prescribing UK doctor, otherwise this will delay you receiving your medication. We cannot accept photocopies.
Can you send my medication before you receive my signed prescription?
No, unfortunately not. We must have received your signed prescription before we can dispense and send your medication. If you need your medication urgently, then please visit your local LloydsPharmacy who will be able to dispense it for you right away.
Can I place one order for multiple people?
Yes. If multiple people in your household are on the same medication (e.g. Malarone) you can request their medication on one order. We must receive all signed prescriptions in order to dispense all the medication. Note: orders can only be sent to one address

Your medication will be provided by LloydsPharmacy Limited, Sapphire Court, Walsgrave Triangle, Coventry, CV2 2TX, but dispensed at:

Payments

How much will my private prescription cost me?
The price of each individual medicine is displayed during the order process. You will be charged per tablet/unit of medicine, so ensure you enter the correct amount needed otherwise this could delay your prescription being dispensed. All private prescriptions have a minimum order value of £5.00 per item irrespective of the quantity of the particular item.

Delivery

Where can I have my medication delivered?
Medication can be delivered to England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands.
We can deliver to a residential or work address.
What will my parcel look like?
Your medication will be delivered discreetly with no reference to LloydsPharmacy on the outside of the packaging.
What is the cost for delivery?
Delivery for private prescriptions is free.
When will my medication be delivered?
We will dispense and post out your medication the same day we receive your signed prescription. Exclusions include medicines that have to be made especially for your or those that have to be ordered from our suppliers. We will contact you if there is a delay in sending out your medication. We will send you a dispatch email once your order is on its way.
Private prescriptions will be sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm™, excluding Sundays. A signature will be required upon delivery
What happens if I’m not at home when my order is delivered?
As your delivery requires a signature, Royal Mail will leave a card advising you that they tried to deliver. The card will tell you how to rearrange delivery or collection.
What do I do if my order hasn’t arrived?
If your order hasn’t arrived by 1pm on the day following the receipt of your dispatch email (excluding Sundays), then please contact Customer Services:

Cancellation and returns

How do I cancel my order?
You order can be cancelled if we haven’t yet dispatched it. Contact Customer Services, quoting your order number or your name, address and date of birth. If your order has already been dispatched, then we are unable to cancel it.
Can I have a refund on my medication?
Unfortunately, medication cannot be refunded. However, we can accept returns if you wish us to dispose of your medication for you. Medicines sent back for disposal cannot be refunded.
