Frontline spot on kills 98-100% of Fleas within 24 hours of use for up to 8 weeks and also prevents re-infestation by adult and immature ticks for up to 1 month.

Frontline Spot On acts by direct contact with your pet's skin and not via the blood stream in any way, killing Fleas within 24 hours. It is applied externally to the back of your pet's neck this is when the active ingredient Fipronil begins to work by quickly dissolving into your pet's skin.
This then disperses over your pet's entire coat within 24 hours concentrating itself in the skins oil glands. When Fipronil is then secreted with the natural oil of your pet's skin it continually coats your pets skin and hair meaning it lasts for several weeks after application.
Due to the nature of how Frontline Spot On works with Fipronil concentrating itself within your pet's skin oil glands it makes this treatment one of the longest lasting flea treatments available without prescription.
